After Alex took the Bar Exam he came to Salt Lake to be with Abby and I. We ended up staying in Utah for about 4 weeks before returning home to Moscow. After we got back Alex continued applying for jobs and waiting to hear back about his Bar results. Meanwhile we had put in our 30 days notice at our apartment complex and were making plans to move to Boise. At this point Alex did not have a job and we didn't know what else to do besides move to a bigger city and hope for the best. We found a place to live in Boise and began packing up our apartment. On September 15th Alex found out that he passed the Idaho Bar exam!!! It was a GOOD day at our house and we were all very very relieved that all his hard work paid off.
But, even though he passed the Bar he still didn't have a job. However a week later he had a skype interview with the Cassia County Public Defenders office in Burley Idaho. The interview was that morning and by that evening they had called to offer him the job and said they wanted him to start in a week and a half. We were so excited to get a job! So we called our apartment complex in Boise and told them we were not moving in after all. My Mom, Abby and I drove to Burley to begin looking for a place to live while Alex loaded the moving truck. It was difficult to find a place to live in such a small town on such short notice but luckily we were able to find a place. We move in tomorrow and Alex starts work Monday.
Pretty crazy huh? I didn't think it was possible to move to a town that was smaller than Moscow Idaho, but let me tell you...it is possible, and we are grateful :)
