11 Months Old

Abby is still not crawling, she is not cruising, and she absolutely refuses to move her legs when I hold onto her fingers. So while I am waiting patiently for her to do at least one of those...here are some things that she is doing!

- She has learned how to do patty cake and she will clap her hands, "mark it" and raise her arms to "toss it in the oven". It is pretty cute.
- She is pointing to everything these days as you can tell from the picture. She points to show me what she wants and she points to show me things she sees that she likes.
-She can get up on all fours but I have never actually seen her do it. She is sometimes in that position when I go to get her out of bed, but she won't do it when we are just playing. When I put her in that position she will stay for a little while but she won't move anywhere, I am hoping she is getting closer.
-She is finally saying Ma Ma, but I don't think she really associates the word with me, but I am trying to help her learn.
-The other day I swear she said "bye bye". 4 times in a row when I told her to say bye bye she would say "ba ba". However I haven't gotten her to do it again since so I am not quite counting it as her first word.
-She is figuring out how things work like buttons on the remote, buttons on her toys that make them talk etc. It is pretty fun to see things click for her.
-She is starting to figure out how to joke with me. When she is eating her food she often threatens to throw it over the side of her high chair, but when I tell her no no she will smile at me as if to say "just kidding" and she will pop the food in her mouth.
-She loves to dance and she has recently learned to shimmy when she hears music.

She is learning new things all the time and I cannot believe that in just one more month she will be 1. We love our little girl!!!
