Now here is a sign you don't see in Utah, I saw this driving home from my friend's house and just had to take a picture. There are all sorts of different creatures out here, and a lot of them eventually become road kill. There are Armadillos squashed on the road as well as squirrels and lizards. The other day I was at the stop light of a very busy intersection when I saw this tiny lizard run out into the middle of the road. I watched him thinking, he is a goner, if he makes it all the way across it will be a miracle. So I continued to watch as the wheels of all the tires zoomed over him, each time surprised to find that he was still running around and the cars had barely missed him. I found myself routing for the little guy, hoping that he would make it all the way to safety. However, just as he was almost to the end of the road a car finally got him. Sorry you were probably expecting this story to have an awesome ending since I was building up to it, but it doesn't.

Everybody needs a cheerleader like you in their life. You crack me up!
Sorry I haven't called yet. I'm over on minutes. We're working out a new plan... yaddy, yaddy, ya. I haven't forgotten. I just have been spending all my phone time with my 'five faves' since there free. We're working it out :)
haha! lizards are risk takers. I like that... but not the 'end in death' part. Maybe I will stick to my old ways of always OVERLY cautious.
...it was you that ran over it, wasn't it Ash :)
that is a hilarious road sign!! i've never seen one like that before. i'm so glad you're being able to experience a whole new world of rodents and such! livens life a little.
Ok, so what are the chances that we both write a blog using the word RoadKill in the title the same week? I hadn't even seen your blog yet when I wrote mine. I have been such a super boring blogger lately with school starting up again. I am still meaning to do the 8Tag one you did. I wish I was more interesting.... or at least could write about more funny stuff like you.... haha.
Have you seen any gators yet?
